Dunleath Urban Sports Park Opens

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council’s £440,000 investment in youth and community sports has come to fruition with an exciting and accessible facility in Downpatrick. Already drawing visitors from as far afield as Dublin and Donegal, this park is fast building a reputation as the most fun park in Ireland.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Chairperson, Councillor Philip Campbell said, “This project is a great example of how partnership working and collaboration can deliver real results for our district. Dunleath Urban Sports Park is a vibrant, modern facility that will support our young people, encourage outdoor activity and contribute to the ongoing regeneration of Downpatrick. We are proud to see this vision become a reality.”
